X Schneeberger is a writer, artist, performer, activist and curator. X’s work explores the power of the fringes and embraces ambiguity. In drag, X performs as X Noëme, singing, meandering and celebrating the fragility of life.

The literary debut «Neon, Pink & Blue» was awarded the Swiss Literature Prize in 2021 and translated into French and Italian; a new novel, «suisseminiature» will be published in the fall of 2023, also by Verlag die Brotsuppe. Since 2023 X has been writing a regular column «Off the Record» from the underground in the Berner Kultur Agenda.

At the Bone W ORT X will buzz and wing own drag aliases in a musical-literary performance based on the song «Die Eintagsfliege». X will be accompanied on the piano by the Drag Queen Steela Diamond.
